Meices' singer/guitarist Joe Reineke's new project takes his previous band's songwriting smarts and gears the lyrical agenda towards sci-fi territory. "Trippin' Up to the Clouds" begins with a vamp on a composition ("Dear Deadly") by Reineke's former roommate, Creeper Lagoon's Ian Sefchick. "When I Get Home" shows off ACS's playful side with its jaunty rhythms and buzzy guitar ornamentation.
