Truly nice characters are rare in the sometimes raunchy world of Contemporary R&B; City High might be some of them. Slapped together by performer-turned-prodcuer Wyclef Jean, the trio wrote all the songs on their debut and co-produced most of the tracks. The result is smooth, rap-infused R&B that nods to the Latinos and Latinas and manages to hide sweet sentiments inside their dance-friendly tracks. |
