Music by the recording artist Fantasia This young singer from North Carolina went from unknown teenager to worldwide superstar after winning the third season of Fox TV's American Idol. Sixty-five million people voted for her, leading to her record deal with Clive Davis' J Records. With a diverse vocal style that draws from legendary (Aretha Frankin) and contemporary (Pink) artists alike, Barrino released her first single, "I Believe," in the summer of 2004.
