Prepare to be attacked by a swarm of enraged screamos with a rapid-fire spray of metal machine gun guitars adding to their post-hardcore fury. Like similar aural pummeling from head-numbing artists like Sick of It All and Sparta, this LA band (who headed west from Gainesville, Florida) is very, very angry, and rather than punch a pillow, they released their debut CD Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has a Body Count in 2004. Sure, it's a little threatening and not a bit subtle, but it's still a safe and therapeutic way to release adolescent anger without anyone getting hurt. Unless your eardrums burst. |
