Jennyanykind are the black sheep of Chapel Hill's Indie Rock flock. They refuse to be sufficiently serious, brainy, or dissonant. Instead they embrace the psychedelic grooviness of the Stone Roses, jazz it up with Hammond organ, and space it out with long Ambient Dub passages. Their music is nonconformist, and their lyrics are just plain surreal. |
