Music by the recording artist Kam Hailing from South Central L.A., Kam dropped his first album in 1993 and a follow-up in '95. His intelligent and conversational flows relate the harsh realities of life in the hood, set to juicy bass, funky beats, and wheezing keyboards. On "Where I Come From," he comes with nice lines like "the courts won't let you go with three strikes/The Source won't give you more than three mics."
