Players Association   Biography  
Technically, the Players Association formed way too early to be called Acid Jazz but their sound practically defines the essence of a laid-back groove. Funk, Disco and rock were all in their repertoire -- and nearly all the players went on to become jazz stars in their own right -- including David Sanborn, Bob Berg, Tom Harrell and Jon Faddis.
