An innovative mixture of traditional Klezmer music and progressive Free Jazz, Naftule's Dream blaze a new path with their fiery instrumental skills and inspired improvisations. They feature a unique combination of clarinet, accordion, distorted feedbacking guitar, tuba, trombone and a versatile, skilled drummer. With a name taken from legendary Klezmer clarinetist Naftule Brandwein, and an approach to group improvisation similar to that of Charles Mingus, Naftule's Dream have impressed many -- including producer Bill Laswell, who worked with them on their acclaimed second album, Smash, Clap!.
