The GEMM Search Bookmarklet is an easy way to search GEMM while you're browsing
the web. If a band comes to your mind all of a sudden, you hear something on
the radio, or are viewing another website... a GEMM search is just a click
away.
Adding the GEMM Search Bookmarklet
Adding a bookmarklet to your browser is easy. Internet Explorer and Mozilla
based browsers use a different method for adding a bookmarket. Please follow
the instructions for your browser:
Internet Explorer
Before adding a bookmarklet, you'll want to have your Links Toolbar enabled.
To do this, select 'View -> Toolbars -> Links', and select the Links option.
Right-click this link:
GEMM Search and select 'Add to Favorites...'
You may be told "You are adding a favorite that may not be safe. Do you
want to continue?" The bookmarklet can only be used to search GEMM
so it is perfectly safe to continue. Click 'Yes'.
Choose which favorites folder you want to use and then click 'OK'.
If you choose the 'Links' folder then you can turn the GEMM bookmarklet
into an easy-to-access button.
Firefox/Netscape/Mozilla/Safari
Before adding a bookmarklet, you'll need to have your Personal Toolbar
enabled. If it is not already enabled, you can enable it by selecting 'View ->
Show -> Personal Toolbar' and select Personal Toolbar.
