I grade on a sliding scale, using +'s & -'s to be more specific. Sometime its hard to put an item into a category, so I either add a +/- or put in the lesser of the two gradings. I try to listen to as many CDs as possible, especially those that fit into AC or G catagories, but its nearly impossible to listen to them all. I keep copies of all items sold, and listen to them if an item is said to skip or have defects. The copy will not burn properly if the original is damaged. This protects me and also makes it easier to determine if I want the item returned or the buyer to keep it and get a refund.
BN=BRAND NEW (any item that is FACTORY SEALED, that is ...its NEVER been removed from it's original factory wrap... no re-wraps.)
M=MINT (Absolutely perfect, like new inside and out, no visible scrapes, scuffs or damage on Disc, Inserts or Case)
M-=MINT Minus (Any Cd that is nearly perfect, it might have one miniscule mark, or tiny defect in the paper credits)
VG++=Very Good ++ (similar to M-, except if i was to list it, I would NOT put in a Mint or Like New catagory...it would list it as Very Good, then describe it as near Mint)
VG+=Very Good+
VG=Very Good (In apperance, might have some light scuffs and finger nail marks on the disc... could have one of the inserts missing (I will always state this in the description). the inserts might have light wear or tiny tears etc. )
VG-=Very Good-
G+=Good+
G=Good (These Cds might have numerous scuffs and scrapes, light scratches and defects to the inserts... specifics will be stated in the condition description above..)
G-=Good-
AC=Acceptable (these CDs are scratched up, or resurfaced... they might have one or both inserts missing (I will always state this in the description above), But they are garanteed to play through all the way..)
All Compact Discs selling for more than $3.99 regardless of condition will recieve a brand new case. All CDs selling for $3.98 or less will get a used VG or better case.
