To me mint is unplayed new perfect. When I buy online I find too many dealers call everything they sell mint especially on the online auction sites. Mint NEVER PLAYED new absolutely no flaws
Near mint is played but no flaws no more than slight signs of handling
VG++ very slight ringwear or dings on cover or Very few tiny marks on the item
VG+ some cover damage or 4-8 very light marks
VG A good many cover flaws or heavy ringwear or a good many marks but plays
G This item is beat up but will play , often with some noise!
