COMPACT DISC:
If it says "new" it is, however, because MITA is a retail outlet and being a small business we do not have the electronic gizmos at the door, so removing the CD is our theft deterrent. Consequently, nearly all the CDs that say "new" will have been opened for this reason. Used CDs will be priced accordingly! Remember we have the equipment to remove the scratches from a CD if needed so anything we sell should be virtually scratch free. We have tried to indicate any problems up front in the description section but may have missed something about a case or inserts. All CDs are guaranteed to play. But if you have a problem with a CD playing, try a different machine before contacting us. Unfortunately, not all CDs play on all machines and if it plays on mine it is a good CD and no refund will be given.
CASSETTE:
If it says "new" it is, however, because MITA is a retail outlet and being a small business we do not have the electronic gizmo's at the door, so removing the cassette is our theft deterrent. Consequently, nearly all the cassettes that say "new" will have been opened for this reason. Used cassettes will be priced accordingly! Because tape machines have a tendency to gobble tape from time to time we are unable to warranty cassettes. Exchanges are handled on a case by case basis if you communicate your desire we will try to help.
