We adhere closely to Goldmine standards for our product.. with a few exceptions: Our NM is generally a M- (we never use the term "M" or "Mint" to describe anything we sell (although our customers say it is in that shape). With all vinyl, we grade both cover and vinyl. Most items we list are a NM condition, please check the grading before you purchase the item.. it saves us headaches in the long run!NM = near purfect record/cd. Anything we sell is generally of this calibre, as we feel there can never be a 'mint' item.
VG+++ = Very minor wear to cover or the media. This will in no way affect the play or visual appearance of the item.
VG++ = Same as above, though blemishes and marks may be visible on cover and or media.
VG+ = A playable item, though the item has been well used. Will have slight audible background noise, though the overall sound will be good. Covers will show rings and wear, though no rips or tears.
VG = generally an item to aquire until you can get a better copy. We don't suggest these unless it's a fairly rare item you're after. Will play with a fair amount of noise, and is somewhat irritating. Cover may be ripped or torn, split and quite dirty.
If the above policy leaves any doubts, please refer to GEMM's generally accepted Grading Standard
