Quality Vinyl Press: Refers to the type of material used in the plant when it was pressed, this description is used solely for 45 rpm singles. Because of the wide spread use of Styrene (Injection Molds) for lower overhead costs since the mid 1960's, this notation means that the Vinyl is a "Real Vinyl Issue" or "Virgin Vinyl" or a "Higher Quality" (if a re-issue) than was used previously. We specialize is higher grades of vinyl material, so when you seen this notation it means it will usually sound cleaner, more dynamic and much quieter.
