SS = still sealed.NM = near mint, not perfect but close. Vinyl plays noise free, labels and cvr are flawless.

VG+ = played often with moderate surface wear (slight scuffs/very light scratches) and moderate noise - still plays okay. Cover may have medium overall wear or ring wear, split seam, tape, writing.
VG = overall wear, no skips or defects, significant surface noise. Alright until a better copy comes along. Cover is well worn, may have seam splits, spine frayed. Taped seams, spine OK.
G HEAVY WEAR ON RECORD, NOISE THROUGHOUT BUT STILL PLAYS WITHOUT SKIPPING. COVER WORN AND BATTERED. ONLY RARITIES OFFERED IN THIS CONDITION. NO RETURNS ON THESE ITEMS.

78's Due to age and materials used in their manufacture surface noise is inherent in just about all of them. I will not sell 78's where the noise is more prominent than the music and I play grade them all. A VG+ is the general rule of thumb and any exceptions are noted in the remarks.
CD's - they either play great or they don't. All listed discs play flawlessly and are graded as NM. Please read description for comments concerning booklets, extras, jewel case, etc.
If the above policy leaves any doubts, please refer to GEMM's generally accepted Grading Standard
