I havent owned a record player in over 20 years, so, ALL of my vinyl is VISUALLY graded. I do not grade anything MINT unless it is STILL SEALED, or, I was the original owner and know the item was never used. Grading is subjective, regardless of which "standard" is used. On rarer items, my grading is strict, and you will see this in the description and reflected by the price. I want you to know exactly what you're paying for, and I want you to be happy with your purchase and come back to buy more. Translucent or clear vinyl is extremely difficult to grade visually, especially the RYKO greenish tint vinyls, and most Picture Discs, as they give off the optical illusion in light of being heavily marked, even when they're factory fresh.
If the above policy leaves any doubts, please refer to GEMM's generally accepted Grading Standard |
