We do not use Mint grading, even on unplayed records. Cover-virtually no signs of wear VG++ = close to NM with perhaps no more than minimal small surface scratches or scuffs or very minor wear. Cover-only slightest signs of wear. No rips or split seams. VG+ = more visible wear than VG++ but still retains shiny surface with minor vinyl scratches or scuffs not affecting play. Cover-some normal wear, possibly some ring wear, but in tact and in in nice condition with only the most minor rips or split seams. VG = a well used record which still has some shine. May have many light scratches, etc but will still play through without skipping with only minor noise. Cover well used but in tact. May have ring wear, small rips and split seams. We do not play grade but do play every record (other than NM) through before shipping.
