Pure Pop Records began as a label in 2000 and in 2005 we established a physical store in the wonderful artistic and bohemian suburb of St Kilda in Melbourne, Australia. Our store stocks an eclectic range of music with a special emphasis on independent, alternative and hard to find titles, although we have no problem whatsoever fulfilling your desire for Top 40 chart product. Our DVD range emphasises our staff's love of quality cinema with a huge range of classic, arthouse, cult and foreign language films. As with our CD's however, if your tastes fall more inside the mainstream, we can supply all your needs. In short, Pure Pop Records has everything you average mainstream store has but much, much more. An unusual request for an obscure CD or DVD will not be met with a blank stare and a request for the latest blockbuster movie or #1 CD will not be met with a condescending smirk.
