MINT (M)
The record is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The jacket and any extra items are in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT (EX)
The record shows signs of having been played but there is negligible loss in sound quality. The jacket may have slight wear or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG)
The record has been played many times but shows no significant deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks. Normal wear and tear on the jacket, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G)
The record has been played enough that the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably and may have light pops and skips. The jacket may suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits or discoloration.
FAIR (F)
The record is playable but was not properly cared for and plays with extensive surface noise overriding sound and may skip considerably. The jacket may be torn, stained or defaced.
BAD (B)
The record is unplayable and probably broken and is only of use as a collection filler. I visually inspect the majority of the records I list online so assume that the record description is from a visual inspection. If needed, I clean the record to better give a proper grading and I always grade on the "lower" end of the scale. I never "sugar-coat" a description...this doesn't work with records anyway. I SHIP WITHIN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME AND WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR ITEMS ONCE THEY HAVE BEEN SHIPPED. I make 2 Post Office trips a week but I do not mind making special runs for over-night shipping etc...If you make a special request (Overnight, UPS, FED-EX etc.) do not pay until I give you a total or your payment may be returned minus any fees. . I combine shipping, add $1 for each additional record over 2 (continental USA USPS media shipping)...additional overseas shipping cost to be determined but will not cost much more. I accept Bid-pay, Money Orders, Cashiers Checks and Personal Checks>> Personal checks will need to clear before item is shipped so expect an extra 10-14 days waiting period for your purchase. I will not sell a record that I would not listen to on my own turntable and I believe in fairness when dealing with people so the "Golden Rule" applies with every transaction, THIS IS A KIND AUCTION SITE!
