On Vacation during Thanksgiving. Back in December. I have been collecting records, cassettes, and books for over 30 years. Many of my records have been played only once, recorded and never played again. These albums, while opened, still have the original shrink wrap with hype stickers. I don't play records to verify quality unless they are scratched.
If a cassette doesn't sound right I toss it or will give it away in an order unannounced. I won't sell it. Many of my 1100 cassettes have seen little wear. I spot check each cassette. It is impossible to listen to each cassette all the way through.
I am now using stock photos for cassettes. Records must have actual photo.
Cassettes can be used for MP3 conversion with a cassette player with a USB connection. They sell on E-Bay for about $100. Considering the low cost of cassettes as compared to downloads and CDs, it would be a worth while investment to anyone wanting to download a large quantity of music. I offer many $1.99 cassettes and with standard shipping, buying in bulk would save money in the long run.
