The label expanded and evolved to fill the void left by bands like The Beatles, Badfinger, The Hollies, The Raspberries, etc. and to carry on in that great power pop tradition. Current bands like Oasis, Matthew Sweet, Tom Petty, Teenage Fanclub, The Connells, Collective Soul, Crowded House and others are examples of the musical direction of the label. |
