we've got vinyl, cds, tapes, couches, internet access, dart board, ping pong table, free library, and lots of other stuff/junk to do no one gets paid at this store.. it is completely volunteer run and any profit made goes directly back into the store... if you are bored, there is almost always something going on here... we listen to music and hang out hard as shit all day long... we stay open late as hell (usually till around 4AM) and we open up at noon on tuesday through sunday.. on monday we open up at 3:30 because mondays suck and nobody wants to be up until like 3:30 anyway. we watch the family guy.. it is funny as shit
we dont give a shit about anything except having fun... if there is an awesome show in town we will close the store and go to it... if there is something cool going on... we will go and have fun at it... the employees' ages range from 17 to 23. seriously.. come and hang out... but do none of the following: -go on and on about how much you are into the scene or how you know so-and-so from such-and-such a band and how the SCENE is better where you come from... we dont really care about that sort of thing but we arent angry enough to tell you to shut up -xcomeINandTELLusABOUThowPUNKrockYOUarex -ask if you can have a million things -try to sell us something that you found on the street or that you stole from somebody who is bleeding and crying outside -ask us for money for beer or "anything else that equals beer" unless you are like 12... we will say "no" but we will laugh first things you should do are included in the following: -bring us food -give us massages -hang out and challenge us to a ping pong game -poop IN the toilet and not in the sink -ask if we would like to make out with you (non gender specific) -buy something that youve never heard of -relax -ask us what we are listening to in the shop -buy/make us all lots of new pairs of socks -be nice -say "whoa! this place is awesome!" -own a record player.. seriously.. they are like 25 dollars at good will.. quit being lazy -use the words "dookie, turd, fart, butthole, nerd, snoop dogg, or son of a bitch (pronounced somebitch)" in conversation stank you smelly much for checking us out... see you soon Fade Theory Records
