| Dear Friend... Welcome to Affordable Vintage Products. I have been collecting music and music related items since I was 2 years old (so I have been told) - so my inventory consists of thousands of artifacts, expanding over 50 years. In fact, I can not remember a time where music was not a major part of my soul. Do you remember when 78-rpm records were one-sided and made from cardboard? I do and I have a few. I also have some cut-outs from when 45's used to come packaged on the back of cereal boxes. And the miniature, flexible 45's that came inside a few cereal boxes. I have some of those too. And of course the Peter-Pan kids records, and the ones that came in different colors, some were (are) see-through. Also recall the ones that came with story books? Well, I have some of those too in my collection. I also have things like posters, printed inside sleeves, silken wall hangings/tapestries and such that used to come packaged with albums. Including a personal favorite - a large, blue, Beatles silk-screen. (If interested in buying this, just let me know.) All genre's and all types of media make up this collection - yes, even 8-tracks! (And I still have the player to enjoy them on!) But alas, time moves on. My children have no such interest and it is time for the next stage in my life - retirement. So, being forced to down-size all of my belongings because I am moving to a smaller home, I am now ready to sell EVERYTHING and share with others so they may also enjoy the music and keep the memories alive for themselves. First, after a visual inspection, each record is lovingly cleaned. Not just dusted, but throughly cleaned. I have replaced most of the well-worn covers, but not all because I ran out, so I am hand-crafting a few new ones. Then, each record is inventoried, played and graded. Admittedly, the tunes I personally do not care to hear (of course, we all have our favorites), I did not play all the way through; just enough to make sure it seemed 'ok' overall. Next, I research the titles to see what the average price should be and price them accordingly, before posting them here. I have done my best to be objective and fair when grading and pricing. So, there my friend, you have the whole story. Who I am, how this collection came to be, how they have been cherished and taken care of, and why I am now selling them. As this process progresses, and each record or item becomes ready for sale, they will be posted here first. So, please check back often as new items are expected to be catalogued daily, as to the extent my personal time allows me to do so.
