Surface noise - used records are just that - "used". Most come with a modicum of noise. Many "brand new" records come with some noise. As the late, great DJ John Peel said 'noise is a part of life'. No one wants a record where the noise outperforms the music but some snap, crackle and pop shouldn't make you cringe.
