"Seller Performance Rating"

An indication of how quickly, surely, and courteously the item will be sent to you.

GEMM`s ultimate goal is to make all product available to you from all reputable available sources. It is open to all honest sellers who offer unique or exceptionally priced product to the public.

Levels of customer service, accuracy of catalog, and turnaround time will vary between sellers as each decides on his/her own balance between performance, selection and price.

Rather than set arbitrary performance criteria that might eliminate listings for just that hard-to-find album or bargain that you`ve been looking for, GEMM gives you the information you need to make your own purchase decision.

The GEMM system tracks seller`s orders in detail from the moment you authorize the purchase to the moment the seller ships it to you. It also collects feedback ratings from customers like yourself. With this information, it is able to give you an expectation of performance of each seller based on their past 90 or 180 days` activity in GEMM.

When a given title is available from more than one seller, GEMM also uses this seller performance information along with price, seller location, and other relevant factors to select and display just the listing that is most likely the "best choice" for you.

The "Seller Performance Rating" is a composite of:

* Average customer feedback rating

* Fill Rate (items shipped vs. items ordered)

* Turnaround time (how long it takes a seller from the moment you click "authorize" until the moment the item goes out the door.)

Seller Performance Rating is displayed in search results next to each item:

	Excellent Exceptionally low "not available", fast turnaround time (i.e. < 3 days), and many "Excellent" ratings from customers.
	Good Good performance in all areas, perhaps exceptionally good in some.
	OK Higher "not available", longer turnaround time, and / or lower customer feedback ratings, but still generally acceptable service.
	Fair Fill rate, turnaround time, and / or customer feedback may be fair or poor. May or may not be unacceptable to you. Note that most large importers in GEMM offer good service, but currently have a "Fair" performance rating because they have recently had a very low (<50%) fill rate and relatively slow (>25 day) ship time.
	Poor Fill rate, turnaround time, and / or customer feedback are probably unacceptable.
