A collaborative effort between
Eurythmics guitarist Dave Stewart and singer Kara DioGuardi, Platinum
Weird was created as a faux-1970s band, and turned into the subject of
a VH1 mockumentary. MAKE BELIEVE presents wispy, Fleetwood Mac-like
songs penned by Stewart and his fictional muse, Erin Grace (voiced by
DioGuardi), including the wistful "Will You Be Around" and the gentle,
folk-tinged "Happiness."
