The Seekers were an Australian group who enjoyed brief popularity in
the late '60's. This was their first album.
The album's "flavor"
is decidedly folk-rock. The title song became a smash hit and a movie
was filmed around a book and starred Lynn Redgrave. Another song, Red
Rubber Ball, was the first published song Paul Simon wrote.
The
album is in very good condition. The cover is beginning to show wear
and a white ring is beginning to show on the bottom of the cover.
It plays well with no skips, but an audible click is heard on the first
track on side 2.
