This is a new CD by the popular South African band 'Mango Groove'.
Formed in Johannesburg in 1984, Mango Groove's 11 person line-up
revived the big band sound of South Africa's marabi swing era. Their
sound evolved to include modern mbaqanga and reggae styles, as well as
disco/techo variations, making them a very popular dance band. Lead
singer Claire Johnston provided the pop song talent and image that
guaranteed the group's popularity. This CD was imported from South
